Aubrey ELC is nestled on five acres of picturesque rolling farmland, offering a peaceful retreat for children in a beautiful rural setting. Despite being close to main roads and nearby Stillwater, our childcare centre provides a serene environment perfect for learning and growth.
Our outdoor play area is designed to spark imagination and adventure. Alongside traditional play equipment, we have a dedicated bike and scooter track, complete with mosaic-tiled paths and ramps created by the children and teachers. This space also offers a unique opportunity for children to observe Farmer Tim tending to the farm and animals.
At Aubrey ELC, our indoor and outdoor classrooms are constantly evolving to provide a unique country daycare experience. Our 'living' classrooms offer endless opportunities for child-led, play-based learning, ensuring that every day is a new adventure.
In 2017, we introduced the Aubrey Cottage, a purpose-built space designed specifically for infants and toddlers. With smaller group sizes, the cottage provides a nurturing environment that feels like a home away from home. The children enjoy two outdoor play areas, animal encounters, and farm activities, all under the care of our qualified early childhood education teachers.
With the younger children thriving in the cottage, we've created a new space for our older children to engage in more complex, project-based activities and mat times. This enhancement supports their readiness for school and future learning experiences.

Farm animals make a wonderful addition to our centre teaching responsibility and companionship
Our farm friends are a big part of life at Aubrey ELC. Children love helping our teachers care for the animals, from collecting eggs from the chicken coop to feeding our friendly donkeys, horse, and goats. These fun tasks help our children develop a sense of responsibility and compassion for all living things.
We're also lucky to have beehives on our property, and every year we enjoy a sweet treat when the beekeeper shares the honey harvest with us.
Exploring our five-acre property is a big part of our daily adventures. We take regular walks through the paddocks, pine trees, and orchard, which helps our children develop their gross motor skills and tap into their natural curiosity and sense of wonder.
Childcare that nurtures a love of healthy food
We want to help your child become more independent, so we ask them to bring their own lunchbox to our childcare centre. Why not involve your child in choosing what goes in their lunchbox? It's a great way to teach them about making healthy choices.
We provide water and a nutritious morning tea, complete with fresh fruit and healthy snacks. Our teachers love baking with the children, and they get to enjoy the yummy treats throughout the day.
We're committed to promoting healthy eating habits, which is why we've partnered with the Heart Foundation's Healthy Heart Awards. This programme helps us develop healthy food and exercise policies, and supports our families in making healthy choices.
